I’ve been working all weekend on setting up accounts with TubeMogul.com only to learn that affiliate marketing
is not permitted. WOW how is a guy supposed to make a buck? Now I’ve heard of the Google slaps but never experienced them but I guess that everyone is jumping on the band wagon. So if you have affiliate products or are in network marketing, don’t mention that in any of your titles, tags or descriptions.
They never once took into consideration that I have produced helpful tutorials about how to set up a Facebook Fan Page. These tutorials have received over 4000 views in the last 8 months. Not to mention the tutorials on Squidoo and email marketing that I’ve done. By the way Squidoo has come down hard on network marketers also. So be careful if you are using them for information marketing.
They just have their filters fine tuned to go bizzurk if you mention affiliate or network marketing. I wonder how Avon, Tupperware, Mary Kay and Amway feel about being viewed as a scam by these internet gate keepers?
There is a mentality in America today and it is this – If one oil well leaks, shut them all down! Thank God that the Federal Court in Louisiana overturned that insanity. Reason always is better than a fear response.
Never let a roadblock get in your way. Learn how to go off-roading with your marketing. That’s why it’s a great idea to have your own blog. With your own WordPress blog, you are in the drivers seat and no body can take that away from you.
Here’s to all of the others who have gotten slapped over the years. One more has been added to your ranks.
